A Letter to My 30s

Dear Ash in her 30s,

This marks the start of a new year, age, and decade for you. You have already made it a point to embrace change and dare to do the things you may have been scared to do. You have made a promise to yourself, to make your 30s a transformational chapter in your life. You are no longer holding back because of fear – fear of what others think, fear of failing, fear of being uncomfortable.

You want your 30s to be filled with growth, success, and stepping more into the woman you have always dreamed of being. As you go through each day, don't lose sight of your values and intentions. Let them lead the way as you embark on all the newness your 30s have to offer. Some people say you don't really start living until your 30s but we will see how much weight that saying truly has.

Your 30s may feel a bit selfish at times as you work to grow into being the woman you want to be. Don't forget to make time for the people you love and care about. Keep them close. Growing can hurt and you will need your community to lean on to keep you grounded.

You've set some pretty ambitious goals for yourself, but you know you can handle and achieve them. Stay focused but don't forget to take care of yourself along the way. Rest, relax and recharge without feeling guilty. Success is not worth diminishing your health or burning yourself out.

You have evolved into a beautiful woman throughout the years and you are confident that your 30s will take things to a new level. Embrace and appreciate every day, lesson, and challenge along the way.

Sincerely,

Ash Nichole
