This year I promised myself I would read more – dedicating more time to learning something new and to also give my brain a break on the weekends and before bed.
Growing up, I loved to read, but as I got older I found reading became non-existent in my life. And it’s something I genuinely love to do. Who doesn’t love getting immersed in each word and not wanting to put a book down till the very end?
I enjoy a variety of genres, but I also enjoy books that can help me amp up my marketing or business ownership skills. It’s a win-win. Do what I love and learn something new.
So, as I read books that I think you will find enjoyable or help you run your business, I will write an honest review. Invisible Selling Machine by Ryan Deiss
Invisible Selling Machine by Ryan Deiss is perfect for anyone aiming to improve their email marketing and funnels. Not only does Ryan take you through real-world examples, but he also provides templates as well. The methodology he provides is pure gold because it does all the work for you. It nurtures your ideal clients, moves them through each stage of the buyer’s journey (or your funnel) and encourages them to buy your product and services.
The way this all works is through a series of sequences, each sequence playing a specific role to keep your mail list as engaged as possible. You can, of course, tailor these sequences to the needs of your business and your audience (hello, data-driven marketing).
After reading this book, I was able to immediately apply the technique to my existing email funnels. It’s still a bit early to compare metrics, but the one thing that I love about this methodology is it does not push being sales-y.
I personally hate emails that are always trying to pitch or upsell to me. I value emails that are informative, share resources, and explain the benefits that will help me solve the problem that led me to sign up for that email list.
